Roy Nakashima


Roy Nakashima is the founder of Naka Design. He has been helping Bay Area companies with their user interface design needs since 2001.

Prior to NAKA DESIGN, Roy was Principal Designer at VitalSigns Software where he developed the user interface for the award-winning VitalSuite line of products including the Internet utility Net.Medic.

Earlier, he was a Senior Interaction Design with IDEO, arguably the world's most successful product design consultancy.

Roy graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A.Sc degree in Systems Design Engineering and received an M.S. in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University. While at Stanford, he also worked as an intern at the world renowned Xerox Palo Alto Research Center.
